Prefill your air tanks
If you have an air system on your Trailer Caddy or Terminal Tractor, it's primary use is to release the trailer brakes and/or activate the service brakes. We have had customers state that the air compressor is too slow when filling up the air tank. To correct this issue, we recommend customers remove & prefill the air tank on the caddy before use. When the air pressure drops below 80 psi, the air compressor will kick on to add pressure back to 120 psi. Using the compressor to maintain pressure, rather than building pressure, will greatly extend the life of the air compressor itself.
