Information on design specifications related to stability For the Trailer Caddy/Terminal Tractor Line?

  • How is the machine designed to maintain stability of the trailer when lifted at various heights?
    • Front to Back 3% grade. Side to side must stay at zero. Do not operate a loaded unit along a hillside.
  • Does this change based on lift height, for example if the optional attachment is added to be able to lift trailers high enough to clear any bumps or grades for the landing gear, does that change lift capacities or stability of the equipment?
    • The lift should be operated as low as possible for maximum stability. Only lift the kinpin/load as high as needed to clear the obstruction, then lower it back down.
