How do I convert my ACC from a wheel grab to a spring ramp?

1. To remove the wheel grab base plate like the attached (large weld nut on base plate towards the middle of the machine). Removing allen bolt and nut. Using 3/8” Allen wrench and 15/16” wrench. Slide it off being careful to not lose any ball bearings  

 

2. Now remove the threaded end of the cable out through the Cable pivot. 

3. Now remove the Cable pivot by unbolting it with the two 3/8 x1” bolts, nuts and washers. 

4. Now remove the cable from the cable holder.  

5.Remove the chain guards from the unit. Remove the bolt and nut from the tab on right side inner. 

6. Remove the cable holder bolt and the handle from under the handle bar box.  

 

7. Remove the cable by sliding the cable out form the front right side of the unit.  

8. Slide the swivel plate on being careful not to lose any of the ball bearings under the plate.  

9. With a 3/8” Allen wrench and 15/16” wrench Install the swivel plate. 

10. Put the spring ramp pins into the 2 guide holes. And attached the springs to the outer holes on the spring ramps. The install the spring tabs. 

11. Install the springs onto the spring tabs.
